Diane and her husband have lived in many places: Wurzburg, Germany where she attended the University of Maryland and studied German and taught Pre-K. The next transfer took them to Georgia and Mrs. Dembowski attended the University of Georgia Majoring in education and teaching at Fort Benning Ga. They then moved to Michigan where she continued to teach Pre-K, Another move was to Southwest Louisiana where they put down roots and raised their 3 boys in Cajun country. There she continued to teach and helped to run 2 family businesses as well as being involved in many community activities including her church, scouting, the boy’s schools, coaching, and tutoring at-risk elementary students. In the last few years in Louisiana she was the business office manager and assistant store manager for a major furniture store. Finally, the last transfer landed them in New Mexico.
