She graduated from Harriman College with an AA degree. Diane and her husband have lived in many places: Wurzburg, Germany where she attended the University of Maryland and studied German and taught Pre-K. The next transfer took them to Georgia and Mrs. Dembowski attended the University of Georgia Majoring in education and teaching at Fort Benning Ga. They then moved to Michigan where she continued to teach Pre-K, Another move was to Southwest Louisiana where they put down roots and raised their 3 boys in Cajun country. There she continued to teach and helped to run 2 family businesses as well as being involved in many community activities including her church, scouting, the boy’s schools, coaching, and tutoring at-risk elementary students. In the last few years in Louisiana she was the business office manager and assistant store manager for a major furniture store. Finally, the last transfer landed them in New Mexico. Diane was a substitute teacher at Sacred Heart School and Navajo Prep. While subbing at prep they learned that she had a lot of business experience and she started working in the business office where she has been working for the past 16 years as Accounts Payable, food service tech, and taking care of the school’s assets. Diane enjoys working in an educational environment, as education is placed very high on her list of priorities. She enjoys sharing her experience and places that she has been to with the students and parents.  Diane and her husband enjoy camping, hiking, mountain biking, gardening, and taking their grandkids in the summer to see the wonders of the southwest. While teaching them about the different cultures of the southwest.

Ms. Eve Bluehouse currently works as an Accounts Receivable Technician in the business office and has been with Navajo Prep, for a number of years. Eve has always worked in a business office setting, acquiring her accounting and business studies through San Juan College in Farmington, NM. Prior to her employment with Navajo Prep, Eve worked for the BIE and two (2) other educational institutions, taking on accounting tasks; which included payroll, accounts payable/accounts receivable, and budgeting. Eve has experienced and lived in a residential environment all through her school years, which has helped her to be independent and she understands what the students and parents encounter, adjusting to dorm life and being independent. Eve’s accomplishment is having worked non-stop for many years and furthering her education while on the job. She is looking to taking a break.
